Uitdaging 4: Wie begrijpt de lichaamsboodschap?
De Spaanse kinderen stuurden ons talige boodschappen door maar dan wel met hun lichaam gevormd. Wij moesten de boodschap ontcijferen. Tof zeg!

Uitdaging 3: dansen jullie onze schooldans met de ganse school?
Wij dagen Finland, Kroatië en Spanje uit om onze schooldans met alle leden van hun school aan te leren en ervan te genieten. Juf Joyca danste de instructievideo in en wij dansten onze schooldans naar hartelust mee op de speelplaats. Was me dat genieten en ergens in Europa genieten andere Finse, Kroatische en Spaanse kinderen mee... We onthouden vooral dat outdoor activiteiten en bewegen veel meer deugd doet dan stilzitten en achter een scherm kruipen.


Uitdaging 2: fox and hunters
De partners uit Kroatië stuurden ons een bordspel door dat we even goed in de turnzaal met levende vossen en een jager kunnen spelen. Zo beleven onze kinderen het spel in levende lijve. Juf Charlotte leerde het aan in de turnlessen, maar daarna spelen we het natuurlijk ook op de speelplaats. Wie dit wenst kan het ook bij het traditionele bordspel houden natuurlijk. In ieder geval beleven we er veel plezier aan! Dank je wel Kroatië.

Uitdaging 1: bewegen en innerlijke rust!
Onze Finse partner uit Pirkkala gaf ons  - gezien de mobiliteiten naar de partners niet mogelijk zijn in coronatijden - als eerste een bewegingsuitdaging mee. We kregen bewegingskaartjes toegestuurd. Daarmee gaan de klassen aan de slag in tussendoormomenten - yogalessen - buitenactiviteiten - ...
Wat een voldoening geeft dit voor de kinderen. We hopen hen daarmee te ondersteunen in het vinden van innerlijke rust en ontspanning. Iets wat in deze tijden meer dan welkom is!
 


We stellen onszelf ook even voor aan onze partners!

School Beke is an elementary school situated in Beke. Beke is a small village in Lievegem (in the belgian province of east flanders) Lievegem has a population of 26.000 inhabitants. (The nearest bigger city is Ghent.)

The school hosts around 20 teachers en …….  pupils from toddlers to 12 year olds and is composed of 3 classrooms for pre-schoolers and 7 primary classrooms.  In our school system teachers give all subjects (Dutch and French language, maths, religion, art, music, drama, science, history, biology) for one steady class group. Beside the class teacher there is one teacher PE who gives sport classes to all the children of the school. Subject such as art, music, drama, science, history, biology, language are educated in the form of a project. We try to combine all the subjects in our project classes. The children choose the theme of the project in consultation with the teacher. We teach children in a experience-based way starting form their interests and knowledge. Our school is digitally equipped and our teachers have been educated to work with various applications in their classes, smart boards and our students have access to tablets and computers.

We also have a teacher special needs. The educational care system in Flanders is build on an European principle of inclusion. Every child is welcome in our school. Only in cases when the special needs are to specific, a child will go to a specialized school.

As a school community we are opened to cooperate on various types of projects in order to improve our knowledge, skills and gain some new and valuable experience.

Primary school Dr Stjepan Ilijašević Oriovac is a public state school situated in Oriovac which dates back to 1980. Oriovac is a small village in Brod – Posavina County (eastern part of Croatia – called Slavonia) with population of around 1800 inhabitans (the nearest city is Slavonski Brod as a centre of Brod – Posavina County). 
The school has also got two branch schools in two other villages: 
Brodski Stupnik and Slavonski Kobaš. The school hosts around 40 teachers and 330 pupils from 6 to 14 years and it is composed of 8 primary grades. There is also one pedagogist, psychologist and librarian. Besides regular subjects (Croatian and English Language, Maths, Art, Religion, PE, Physics, Chemistry, History, Design and Technology, Biology, Science, Music) pupils can choose from diversity of other optional and extracurricular subjects and activities like German, ICT, dancing, drama, puppet group, pick-point card group, project group, art group,singing group, ICT group, robotics, sports groups, household and others. Those activities can be changed or added some new ones if pupils show interest for them. Our school is digitally equipped and our teachers have been educated to work with various applications in their classes, smart boards and our students have access to tablets, micro bits, virtual classrooms etc. As a school community we are opened to cooperate on various types of projects in order to improve our knowledge, skills and gain some new and valuable experience.

We stellen onze partnerschool uit Finland voor
Kurikankulma School 
The Kurikankulma School is a comprehensive school consisting preschool and grades 1 and 2. Currently enrolled are some 155 students and 9 teachers. The school is located in Pirkkala, Finland. Pirkkala is a small town situated outskirts of Tampere, which is the largest inland city in Scandinavia and one of the biggest cities in Finland and a major industrial center. 
Neighbourhood of Kurikankulma School is a tranquil area with brand new houses surrounded by forests, lakes and virgin nature. The school opened its doors in a new facility in August 2003 comprising 8 classrooms, a computer lab, a gym and a dining room. Under the same roof with the school is Kurikankulma Day Care Centre. The day care center provides a smooth transition to preschool and great possibilities for collaboration with Kurikankulma School. The school complex is surrounded by a lovely green yard with playgrounds and sport areas. 
School hours are between 8.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. depending the age of the pupil. The lessons last 45 minutes and normally pupils have a 15-minute-break outdoors between every lesson. The lunch break is 30 minutes. The School offers supervised activities for the pupils in the mornings before the lessons and in the afternoon. The school year starts in the middle of August and ends in the beginning of June. During the school year are two breaks: one in October and another in February and shorter breaks for Christmas and Easter. 
The pupils are entitled to a free meal and a free health care at school. Help for educational / behavioural problems are available from the special education teachers and a school psychologist. 
Initiatives at Kurikankulma School are connected with the diverse nature around the school. Science studies are integrated in many ways with the other subjects. All sorts of field trips and hiking tours are common at school.

Paasvakantie 2020 in coronatijd : BEKE CHALLENGE we stappen samen 3000 km bij elkaar!
Met onze school willen we tijdens de paasvakantie samen 3000 km stappen of lopen!
Moedig mama, papa, broers of zussen aan om samen op pad te gaan.
Gaan jullie met ons de uitdaging aan?
Om de uitdaging te doen slagen, zal je het aantal kilometers dat je gestapt of gelopen hebt,
moeten registreren. Je kan hiervoor verschillende manieren gebruiken:
- Volg een uitgestippeld pad waar het aantal kilometers van gekend zijn.
- Gebruik jouw stappenteller om het aantal kilometers bij te houden tijdens jouw
wandeling.
- Misschien heeft jouw mama, papa, grote broer of zus een app op zijn/haar gsm om het
aantal kilometers bij te houden.
Na de tocht is het belangrijk dat deze gegevens worden opgeslagen op www.strava.com.
Dit is een onlineprogramma waar we de gegevens van alle leerlingen zullen verzamelen.
Hoe ga je aan de slag?

- Word lid van de club “BEKE CHALLENGE”
- Registreer jouw activiteit.
Op de volgende pagina’s vind je alle uitleg en een stappenplan.
Je kan hiervoor gerust de hulp van mama of papa inschakelen!
De BEKE CHALLENGE start op maandag 6 april en eindigt op zondag 19 april.
Voor we beginnen willen we nog even benadrukken dat het om een “challenge” gaat, er is dus
geen verplichting tot registratie.

One minute move challenge
Bij onze terugkeer uit Finland voerden we de 'one minute move challenge' in. Op vrijdagmiddag intoduceert één klasgroep een eenvoudige beweging waarop alle leerlingen uit alle klassen bij het belsignaal van 13.15 uur deze beweging uitvoeren. Zo doen we dit iedere middag opnieuw. De volgende week is een andere klasgroep aan de beurt. Zo zijn er al heel creatieve maar ook moeilijke bewegingen uit de bus gekomen. Het is heel eenvoudig maar het loont!


Inhoud van het project
Gedurende twee schooljaren werken we samen met 3 Europese scholen samen rond het thema ' PLay Children PLay'.

Uitgaan van spelen en spelletjes is nooit een slecht idee. Het spel van het jonge kind is steeds de eerste weg om te leren... over jezelf, de ander en je omgeving. Spelen is universeel en heel belangrijk bij het vormen van een kind zijn persoonlijkheid. Spelen is een natuurlijke manier van leren. Daarom is het spelen van spelletjes de meest efficiënte manier om kennis en vaardigheden te verwerven. Het is dan ook de bedoeling om oude en nieuwe spelletjes in de klassen binnen te brengen en daarbij het plezier beleven en beweging te bevorderen.

Bij de ingang van de school hangt de tijdlijn van ons project daarop kunnen  jullie alle stappen en acties rond het project bekijken.
De eerste mobiliteit naar Finland is achter de rug, de logo's zijn gemaakt en de eerste spelletjes zijn gespeeld.

In de meimaand gaan Juf Ann, Juf Ina, Juf Mieke en Juf Ellen naar Oriovac in Kroatië. Daar krijgen de volgende ideeën vorm.
